On Thursday November 15, Graduate School USA participated in WHUR’s annual Food2Feed Drive, which has helped feed needy families during the holiday season in Washington DC for more than 30 years through the Capital Area Food Bank. This successful effort was sponsored by the School’s Employee Recognition Committee; two members of the committee appeared on WHUR’s live broadcast from the Old Post Office Pavilion to talk about the initiative. In addition to supporting the food drive, Graduate School USA also matched every nonperishable food item with a one dollar donation to the Sandy Relief Fund.
