SAT 26             9 A.M.-5P.M. St. Augustine’s End of Summer Fair on the Waterfront.

Emphasizing a family-friendly fair, St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church’s annual event. The fair goes on, rain or shine, at the Gangplank Marina Park, 600 Water St., SW, as part of the southwest neighborhood weekend activities. As in past years, congregation members will sell fried fish sandwiches and cole slaw, hot dogs, caramel apples, fruit kabobs, water and soda.  And, its popular Bake Sale will offer homemade pies and cakes by the slice, cookies, cupcakes, and brownies. The End of Summer fair will include free children’s face painting.  Exhibitors will be present to sell jewelry, scarves, afghans, and other creative wares. The fair will raise funds for the congregation’s community outreach services. “We welcome our southwest neighbors and others to join us and enjoy the delicious food, face painting, the exhibitors and festivities on Saturday,” added Rev.
