Ensuring the safety and well-being of our community has remained a central focus for Serve Your City/Ward 6 Mutual Aid (SYC/W6MA) since its inception. They consistently dedicate themselves to providing essential resources such as food, cleaning supplies, household items, and clothing to our neighbors. The partnership between Christ United Methodist Church and the Southwest Pod of SYC/W6MA, along with grassroots organizations representing Black and Brown communities, has significantly contributed to this effort. The Southwest Pod of SYC/W6MA expresses deep gratitude for the continuous generosity and assistance they receive, which are instrumental in supporting community members facing hardship. This collaborative endeavor underscores the strength of community solidarity and mutual support.
