Coming this February is a five-part class offered by Waterfront Village designed to provide a framework for completing a variety of tasks associated with planning for the future. The class has something to offer anyone 50 years and older.

“This class addresses issues beyond basic estate planning,” said Village Executive Director Pam Troutman. “Approaching the second half of life with a readiness perspective can make the difference between staying in the driver’s seat and finding yourself caught off guard.”

The class will be offered via Zoom so that it can be easily attended. Topics include strategies for home organization, resources for communicating your wishes with friends and family, resources for aging-in-place, and emergency preparedness. This class is offered to the community at no cost.

The class will be held on five consecutive Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. starting on February 5. To register, visit https://dcwaterfront.helpfulvillage.com/events/1171 or call 202-656-1834 for more details.
