At a special meeting of the Southwest Neighborhood Assembly Board held on Nov. 22, Bruce A. Levine was unanimously elected SWNA President to fill the vacancy of Kael Anderson, who had announced that he was stepping down. Levine will serve until the next election and annual meeting of SWNA, which will take place in March 2015. Bruce was previously the Vice President of SWNA, a position that will be filled by Perry Klein, who was unanimously elected by the Board. SWNA, which has been actively involved in many aspects of Southwest life under Anderson’s leadership, plans to continue to do so and will be taking a fresh look at how SWNA can have maximum impact on behalf of the community.
