Computers-for-Kids Class

Here is a photo of students at the weekly Computers-for-Kids class at the James Creek public housing Resident Council building, in a computer lab we set up there.  Here they are receiving a lesson in the use of PowerPoint. We received the computers from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Their refurbishing was supported by a grant from the Friends of Southwest DC. When the kids successfully complete the eight-week program, they are eligible to receive a computer from us to take home for use by their families.Computers-for-Kids is a program of SWNA’s Youth Activities Task Force.
