Serve Your City/Ward 6 Mutual Aid (SYC/W6MA) remains steadfast in its commitment to prioritizing the safety, well-being, and dignity of our neighbors. Since its inception, SYC/W6MA has worked diligently to provide essential resources—such as food, cleaning supplies, school materials, digital devices, household items, and clothing—to those in need. At the core of this mission is our collaboration with Christ United Methodist Church (CUMC) in Southwest DC, along with other grassroots organizations dedicated to uplifting and empowering Black and Brown communities throughout the city. The continued generosity of donors and volunteers has been instrumental in sustaining these efforts, ensuring critical support reaches those experiencing hardship. These partnerships exemplify the power of community solidarity and mutual care.
