My name is Aanisah Myers. I am a fifth grader at Amidon-Bowen Elementary School. Getting back to school was exciting. I am mostly excited about meeting our new principal, Ms. Sykes, also advancing in math and reading! Math is my favorite subject. I also like reading and writing because you can express yourself after reading a book. So far, my classes are going well because I am learning more every day.
For example, in reading we are learning about inventors and the characteristics of successful inventors. The first day of school we learned about the famous inventor Archimedes. Archimedes studied physics and mathematics. He was one the greatest mathematicians of all time.
I want this to be my best year at Amidon-Bowen!
