Please enjoy these photos of the moving of the Copper Beech tree from St. Augustine’s across the street to the area near the Lobsterman statue on Oct. 6. It took nearly two weeks to prepare the tree for moving, at a cost of over $100,000. The move itself took the better part of a day. The church is in the background and is scheduled for demolition to make way for a new church to replace it along with new condos.
