Join us for an online discussion of the Condominium Amendment Act of 2014 and its impact on all DC condominium associations and co-owners. The legislation is the product of years of efforts by the DC Legislative Action Committee of the Community Associations Institute, which sought this legislation to fix certain shortcomings in the Act, and to modernize the statute to allow condos to use electronic voting and meeting notifications, among other changes. The Condominium Amendment Act also requires all co-owners to purchase condominium owners insurance.
