Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater, in partnership with Ward 6 Councilmember Charles Allen, At-Large Councilmember Elissa Silverman, At-Large Councilmember Robert C. White, Jr. and the D.C. Department of Employment Services, opens its doors for the 12th semi-annual D.C. Career Fair on Friday, Oct. 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Mead Center is located at 1101 Sixth St., SW. Throughout the past five years, Arena Stage has partnered with more than 100 participating organizations and served a combined total of nearly 8,000 community members by hosting regular career fairs.

The event will commence with remarks at 9:00 a.m. by Executive Producer Edgar Dobie, who will introduce Councilmembers Allen, Silverman and White.

The employers who will be in attendance include, but are not limited to, DDOT; D.C. United; Insulators & Allied Workers Local 24; Incanto & The Channel/Apartments at the Wharf; NFC Amenity Management; Concord Hotels; Wharf; IBEW/NECA Local 26; Admiral Security Services; Oasis Marinas; Complete Building Services; MPD; Strittmatter; Inter Solutions; WMATA; Kimpton Hotels; Levy Restaurants; Reston Limo; Holiday Inn Capitol; Midtown Group; InterContinental Washington D.C.; First Class Workforce Solutions; Bridge Point; and Entertainment Cruises.
