The Southwest Neighborhood Assembly (SWNA) is pleased to announce the implementation of a new task force: the Digital Empowerment Task Force. The task force will be chaired by Southwest residents Jenelle Leonard and Keisha Brown.

The Digital Empowerment Task Force aims to offer a range of services that enhance both personal and professional skills, thereby increasing opportunities for employment, upskilling, digital literacy, financial literacy, and data analytics. It will actively work to implement various initiatives, including but not limited to skills development programs, affordable internet access, provision of technology devices, technical support, and access to relevant resources. To achieve its objectives, the task force will actively seek funding opportunities through grants, corporate sponsorships, donations, in-kind contributions, and special events that support its programs, initiatives, and activities.
