Mandarin Oriental, Washington D.C. will take to the streets for the third consecutive year to sponsor its FANtastic March III, a 5K fundraiser event, on Sunday, September 8th, 2013. The funds raised by Mandarin Oriental colleagues will be used to support the Heart of America BuddyPack program for students at W.B. Patterson Elementary School located at 4399 South Capitol Terrace, in Southwest DC.

“Supporting our community and our neighbors of Southwest remains a very important initiative for Mandarin Oriental, Washington D.C., said General Manager Adriaan Radder. “Our FANtastic March has not only provided much-needed funds for the two previous organizations in Southwest DC, but the event itself has also been recognized by the Hotel Association of DC for its creativity and results. We look forward to another great event to benefit Patterson Elementary.”

The FANtastic March II will begin at 9 a.m. on Sunday, September 8th, 2013, at Mandarin Oriental, Washington, D.C. and wind around the National Mall before returning to the hotel for a celebratory BBQ at approximately at 11 a.m. The fee to participate in the walk is $40 per person, which includes: continental breakfast, morning pre-walk stretching, event t-shirt, and admission to the BBQ.
