Join the Southwest Neighborhood Assembly’s Emergency Preparedness Task Force for the Extreme Event game – a community disaster preparedness exercise – on Saturday, Sept. 8, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Channel Square Apartments Clubhouse, 325 P Street, SW. A light lunch will be provided.
Extreme Event is an in-person role-playing game that gives participants a taste of what it takes to build community resilience in the face of disaster. Players work together to make decisions and solve problems during an engaging, fast-paced disaster simulation.
